As the recession digs deeper and deeper into folks lives, people begin to get frustrated. The unemployment rate in the UK has literally gone sky high and it is only set to get worse. A recent study has displayed that more than 50% of employees have already cancelled their summer vacations. There are two reasons why people are cancelling their holidays, one is due to saving their money and the second is because they fear they may lose their jobs is they take too much time off.
Going on your holidays and having a rest is not only good for yourself but it also benefits everyone, for more detail please read on
1) By staying at work all year around without taking time off will make you a lot less productive. You will get fed up because you have nothing to look forward too and this will be a more likely reason that you will be dismissed.
2) Having a break will definatley help you clear your mind and if your boss does sack you then atleast you can say that you have a clear mind and will find another job easily.
3) If you have a family they may start to get fed up with you working 24/7 and not spending any time with them, so not taking time off work could actually start to affect your personal life.
There are also a huge amount of other reasons as to why you should look at going away, if you really believe that your employer will sack you because you take some holiday time off then you must not be very good at what you do, because there is no way that an employer is going to get rid of someone just because they want to have a week or twos break from work.

Money is the one problem that we all have to deal with, and now the recession is coming in full pelt, can we really afford to go on a luxury holiday. The holiday market however is showing that the prices are dropping, and they are giving us more diversity, making the decision easier for us.
However does this really help us, although holiday prices are coming down the odds are we still won’t be able to afford luxury holidays. We do have bills to pay and expenses going out and a luxury holiday probably doesn’t seem that cheap, but how much is it? If you look around you will find more and more deals coming in, with travel agents trying to send you all over the world for as little as possible, even on Caribbean holidays where you have the clean white beaches and 5 star hotels, all of the pampering that you would ever need from a holiday.
Looking around for the best deals will help, but because competition is so tough they are all bringing their prices down just keep up with each other. Even if bills are taking up most of our money, one of the mopst important things for us to do is get away from everything every now and then, and luxury holidays are now cheaper and more available.
Some people are even having their weddings abroad because the prices are even cheaper abroad than they are at home, this shows that holidays at home might not be that cheap either. Just to get away from all the stresses will do you wonders, and going on a luxury holiday certainly will help you chill out, especially now it’s becoming easier to obtain. Yes then, luxury holidays are easier for us to afford and they have come down in price, so will you put a little more cash into a holiday to have a bit more luxury?
